God Is So Faithful

It’s very easy, as you go through this life to get started on a thing and then want to stop it. It’s easy because as human beings when things don’t go “as planned” or the way we desire, we want to discontinue it.

But when  God is all you got left, that’s  a good place to get things started all over again!God has shown us that he is faithful. The scripture says:

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. 7It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. Philipians 1`:6-7

Our God has shown Himself to be faithful, even when we haven’t always been faithful. It has become easy for unfaithfulness to creep in through the back doors of  the minds and lifestyles of believers.

Unfaithfulness is no longer characteristic of worldly folk, but unfaithfulness  has become commonplace among the people of God. Husbands  and wives are unfaithful in keeping their marriage vows… in the body of Christ.husband_cheated Parents are frequently unfaithful in their commitment to the well-being of their children…in the body of Christ. Children disobey their parents… in the body of Christ. Employees do not always serve their employers as they should, and some employers take advantage of those who work for them… In the body of Christ.

God is faithful to the finish ;faithful to His Word and commitments.

No one else can fulfill  promises as He does. The Bible is filled with testimonials unto the the faithfulness of  our God. David writes;

Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Psalm 36:5

“O LORD God Almighty! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, LORD? Faithfulness is your very character.” Psalm 89:8

We all experience trying times in our lives. Trying times of struggles. Trying  times of sickness,  financial problems, grief, and depression. Trying times has happened to each of us at  some point in our lives. But those times should only prompt us to cling even tighter to a faithful God—not turn away from Him. He does not promise to prevent problems from coming into our lives, but He does promise to go through them with us.

GOD IS FAITHFUL WHEN WE ARE TEMPTEDWoman holding red apple on black background

Paul wrote to the church in Corinth,

Remember that the temptations  that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it. I Corinthians 10:13 NLT

Paul is confident, not in who he is, but in who God is. We too ought to be confident!

-Because he began the work in me
-Because It’s  a good work in me
-Because He’ll complete the work until he returns.
Our God is faithful!

GOD has shown his faithfulness before, He’ll do it again!

He was faithful to Daniel in the lions den.

He was faithful to Abraham with a ram.

He was faithful to Israel with a pillow of fire.

He was faithful to the three Hebrew boys in the fire.

He was faithful to Elijah with a raven.

He was faithful to Noah with an ark.

He was faithful to the Samaritan woman at the well.

He was faithful to Moses with a rod.

He was faithful to David with a slingshot

He was faithful to Malachai with a window.

He was faithful to Paul with a handkerchief.

He was faithful to Peter with a shadow.

He was faithful to Jesus on a cross.

Surely, surely, he can be faithful to you and me!

When we are unfaithful, He’s faithful
When we don’t have time to worship Him in spirit and in truth He’s faithful
When we don’t give when He blesses us, He’s still faithful.
When we don’t tell others of His goodness, he’s still faithful
When don’t make time for prayer. He’s still faithful.

Our God is faithful ! I’m sticking with God!
